Affiliate programme

Who the programme is for

The affiliate programme is for people and businesses whose audience is interested in keeping reptiles, amphibians and invertebrates: keepers running channels and profiles, blogs and topical sites, keeper groups, pet shops and breeders who recommend equipment to their customers.

Both private individuals and companies can join. We do not require a set number of followers — what matters is that the recommendation reaches people genuinely interested in the hobby.

How it works

1. You apply through the form in your customer panel: Affiliate programme, Apply. An application requires a store account.
2. We review the application and inform you of the decision by e-mail. Once accepted, you receive your own partner code.
3. You share your referral link in the form reptishop.pl/r/YOUR-CODE. The link can also point to a specific product or category.
4. We record the click and store a cookie in the visitor's browser valid for 30 days.
5. We calculate commission if an order is placed within that window. The commission goes through a hold period and then lands on your balance.
6. We pay out once the threshold is exceeded and you request a payout.

Commission

• Standard rate: 8% of the goods value of a referred order. For partners with larger traffic we agree an individual rate, including a fixed amount per order.
• Calculation base: goods value after discounts, excluding delivery costs and VAT. A discount code used by the customer reduces the base proportionally across items.
• Attribution model: last click. If the customer arrived through several affiliate links, commission goes to the partner whose link was the last one before the purchase.
• 14-day hold. Commission waits as long as the statutory withdrawal period. After that we approve it automatically, provided the order is paid and has not been cancelled.
• Voiding: cancelling, returning or refunding an order voids the commission. If it had already been approved, we remove it from the balance.
• No commission on your own purchases. We compare order data with the partner's data and their customer account.

Payouts

• Payout threshold: PLN 200 of approved commission. Below that the balance accumulates with no time limit.
• Request a payout in the partner panel under Payouts, where you also see your balance, payout history and the status of each request.
• We pay by bank transfer to the account given in the application, within [DO UZUPEŁNIENIA: termin realizacji wypłaty, np. do 14 dni od zatwierdzenia wniosku].
• Tax settlement: companies settle commission by invoice. For private individuals the settlement method and tax obligations are: [DO UZUPEŁNIENIA: zasady rozliczenia z osobami fizycznymi — umowa, rachunek, obowiązki PIT i ZUS po stronie sklepu]. This point must be confirmed by accounting before the programme launches, and non-Polish partners should also check their local tax obligations.

Promotional materials

The partner panel's Materials tab holds ready-made banners and a link generator. You can also build links yourself: append your code to any store URL or use the short form /r/YOUR-CODE.

Panel statistics show clicks, referred orders, pending and approved commission and total payouts.

What is not allowed

We reject applications and suspend participation where we find:

• artificial traffic: bot clicks, click farms, forced redirects or links opened in invisible frames,
• publishing discount codes we did not provide, or setting up sites impersonating ReptiShop,
• buying search ads on the store name and its variants — we do not bid against each other for our own brand keywords,
• unsolicited messages and spam on forums and in groups,
• false claims about products, prices or availability,
• offering your own discount codes on coupon sites without our consent,
• promoting animal sales in ReptiShop's name — we do not sell animals.

Commission earned in breach of these rules is voided.

Personal data and cookies

Application data is processed to conclude and perform the cooperation agreement and for settlements — see the Privacy policy. A referral link stores a cookie with the partner identifier in the visitor's browser for 30 days; it belongs to the marketing category and is set only after consent in the banner. Click IP addresses are stored in truncated form. The rules are in the Cookie policy.

Changes and ending the cooperation

• We may change rates and rules, informing partners at least 14 days before the change takes effect. Commission earned earlier is settled on the previous terms.
• Either side may end the cooperation at any time. Approved commission is paid out even after it ends.
